Managing and maintaining Lake Tahoe's extensive resources requires coordination and collaboration among the Lake Tahoe basin's many Agencies and Organizations.  To enable coordination among these numerous entities a "Work Group" approach has been developed and implemented. Work Groups are comprised of individuals from the relevant entities and are formed to address a specific environmental resource issue, management process, or science coordination need. This approach has proven to be very successful.

It is important to note that the Work Group contact information displayed comes from the person who is the Work Group's designated chairperson.  The person who chairs each Work Group periodically changes.  As Work Group information is updated on TIIMS, a Work Group's location will also change.
