The BLM Carson City District Office administers more than 5.28 million acres of federal public land in eleven counties in western Nevada and eastern California. The District is split into two field offices: Sierra Front Field Office on the west and the Stillwater Field Office on the east. Both field office staffs are co-located with the District Office on the east side of Carson City at 5665 Morgan Mill Road (three blocks south of U.S. Highway 50 on the corner of Deer Run Road), along the north bank of the Carson River.
