The project objective profiled future recreation conditions and associated needs in the Lake Tahoe region including types and locations of recreation activities, sites, and facilities. Specifically, the research project included an assessment of types and locations of facilities that may be applicable to recreation policy analysis, identified future recreation needs as specifically perceived by residents versus visitors, and implications for other pertinent user categories.
